Note

Got a thorn in my foot early on, on Saturday and it got a bit swollen and bruised and was sore to walk on. That's now gone away but my foot's hurting when I flex/point it at the top of the joint. No idea what that's from and if it's just bruising/ another thorn or what.

JHI relay. Awesome runs again by Grace and Lizzie set me out in front again but this time with Helen not far behind so pressure was on. Really careful nav, and running within my comfort zone meant a completely clean run with the only mistake being reading the wrong control descriptions on the last control. Very happy to come back 1st and get in the top 3 for the first time at JHI relays for me. Awesome runs by all the other Scottish teams as well to secure the overall win against England's strongest team! Brilliant way to end racing for scot jos.

Last 3 relays I've managed to navigate from the front, something I couldn't do at all last year. Now just need to work out how to do relays starting from the middle of the pack.

JHI individual. Not good, messed up the first 2 controls badly and made many mistakes after that. Think I was over simplifying and also overshot the majority of the controls just from not expecting them to come so quickly. On the plus side felt really good physically. Really glad this didn't affect the results..
