Skiing 23:42 [2] 3.56 km (6:40 / km) +43m 6:17 / km
ahr:97 max:131

New Year's skiing at Lolo Pass, classic skiing in beautiful conditions. I did one quick loop with Alli.

Skiing 1:25:41 [3] 14.89 km (5:45 / km) +108m 5:33 / km
ahr:129 max:207

Some more skiing, including 12km or so on my own. I tried to go fairly hard for a 10km stretch and get under 50 minutes. Ended up at 50:35. Felt good to push, though I am certainly out of skiing shape.

A full-moon evening ski at Lolo Pass with Alli for my 40th birthday. It was gorgeous out! Nothing beats a nice classic ski on good tracks by the moonlight.

Running 47:16 [2] 4.19 mi (11:17 / mi) +256m 9:29 / mi
ahr:140 max:172

My first attempt at running with Persik. He was pretty good on the leash, except when we came to other dogs along the way. Then he pulled hard and tried to say hi to them. It was a bit problematic on the steep downhill back from the top of Barmeyer, when he came to a sudden stop in the middle of the trail and I nearly tripped over him. Still, I think he can be trained to be a good trail running companion.
