Orienteering 47:45 [3] 5.7 km (8:23 / km) +255m 6:51 / km
shoes: Blue Falcons 2019

I went to Blue Mountain this morning to run my advanced UsynligO course. Really fun to be out and orienteer again! The UsynligO app worked very well, with the phone in my camelback. The KP map was very good for contours, vegetation, and even things like dot knolls and cliffs. The main work that needs to be done is improving the trail mapping.

Orienteering 40:00 [2]

We took our nieces, nephew, and some parents-in-law and siblings-in-law orienteering at Blue Mountain. I ran ahead and put out flags for the beginner course and then ran backwards to meet up with everyone. I tested out how well UsynligO worked along the way. It worked well! I think there is some potential for orienteering Missoula.

The kids all had fun and did great. A fun outing!

T.rex training 15:00 [1]

My new PT routine to try to improve hip mobility and extension.

Running 40:56 [2]

Easy run up in Pattee Canyon. I ended up on some fire roads high up, where the wildflowers were still blooming. Pretty cool.

Note

Thanks to a little (a lot of!) help from my friends, the first-ever UsynligO in Missoula is now available! The course is on a KP-generated map of Blue Mountain reservation.
