I got up at 6am and went for a pre-dawn run from the Benham Schoolhouse Inn in Benham, Kentucky. They had an old railroad that has been made into a straight and flat trail, which is convenient when running in an unknown place in the dark. Luckily, I couldn't read the "do not feed the bears" signs until it was light on the way back.
Elliptical intervals at lunchtime. I did 1'-2'-3'-4'-4'-3'-2'-1', with 1 minute rest between all except the 4' minute intervals, which had 2' minute rest.
Off to Eastern Kentucky tomorrow for work for a couple of days. Not sure if there will be any time or opportunity for training.
Attempting to run with the stroller while Alli rollerskied. This time I tried pulling, instead of pushing, as it made for a more natural running stride. I used the harness that I had used for skiing and ice skating, but it did not work well for running, as it ended up being far too jerky and bouncy for Inara in the stroller. So we called it a day before too long and will go back to pushing for future outings.

Longer elliptical session at the Blair House gym after we got back from the rollerski outing. Not sure if my shape is improving, but at least I am back down to pre-surgery weight.
I had planned to do intervals on the elliptical, but the only free machine randomly switched resistance on me every few seconds, which I found highly annoying. Ended up doing a "steady state" workout instead.
