Running 47:16 intensity: (41:16 @2) + (6:00 @5) 4.91 mi (9:38 / mi) +124m 8:56 / mi

Easy run at the base of East Rock, plus some strides at the end in College Woods park. Really humid out today - sweating almost immediately. Hope it gets cooler and drier by the weekend.
Saw some sort of outdoor jympa-like activity in the park by East Rock. Interesting.

Running 25:00 [2] 4.17 km (6:00 / km)
shoes: 2010 Asics

To/from gym plus a bit more

T.rex training 45:00 [1]

Strength with Becky in the morning. Pretty good for the most part, but left knee really struggling on one-legged squats.

Note

1) Logged AP training #4000 yesterday.

2) Got Parallels and QuickRoute running on the Mac yesterday. Now I just need to do some orienteering so I have something to QR!
4 PM

Running 1:32:39 [2] 8.78 mi (10:34 / mi) +336m 9:26 / mi
shoes: 2010 Asics

Was all set on a quiet evening off from training, which I celebrated with my first burrito of the season, when feet messaged me, asking if I wanted to go for a run. It was a beautiful day, and feet was charming as always, so I had to say yes. We went to Bluff Head in Guilford (or North Guilford) and ran around some nice trails there. Beautiful forest and lots of cool-looking rock. I was feeling quite dead and low on energy, as opposed to feet who was chattering about the history of the rock as I was huffing and puffing up the final hills. Good run, now I am shattered.

Really died on the last one, not good. Nice to see some improvement from last week, but still a long way to go before I am in any sort of shape.

Running 36:41 [2] 3.76 mi (9:46 / mi) +78m 9:10 / mi
shoes: 2010 Asics

Very easy recovery run around Science Hill and the streets near East Rock with good company - Becky and Rob. Glad for the company, probably wouldn't have dragged myself out the door otherwise on the first dark, wet run of the fall.
