Running 45:05 [2] 5.3 mi (8:30 / mi)
shoes: 2006 VJ Falcons

A gloomy and rainy but not unpleasant morning on Surebridge in Harriman. I hadn't been there in a long time, so it felt so nice to orienteer on the good old WOC '93 maps again. I ran on trails to the Northern part of the map and then did an old middle distance course from one of Alexei's junior camps there. Breuaitful woods, fast running, first signs of fall colors, and not a soul to be seen. Fantastic - i am having fun orienteering again!!

Running 44:55 [2] 5.61 mi (8:00 / mi)
shoes: Saucony 2006

Morning run with Kat in Forest Park after Greg was not to be awaken. I followed Kat around as she picked trails to follow randomly and tried (mostly successfully) to avoid going in circles. :)

Hiking 1:00:00 [3]

Climbing Mt.Princeton (14197') with Kat and feet. I would happily have put this down as more than an hour of training, as it felt like hard work most of the way up, but feet only put down an hour... It was fun, but i really felt the altitude towards the top and had to stop a bunch of time to catch my breath. Also, it wasn;t the easiest trail to follow, with lots of rock to scramble over and mini-summits to go up and down on the ridge before getting to the main summit. Still, it was a lot of fun, and seeing a pack of mountan goats on the road when we came down was a nice bonus!
