Running 19:35 [5] 3.1 mi (6:19 / mi)

Half a road race at Central Park. Felt exhausted from the start - not sleeping for three days is showing... Must sleep next week.

Running 15:00 [2] 1.88 mi (7:59 / mi)

Easy running

Skiing 2:10:00 [2]

Skiing at Fahnestock State Park with Sergei, Greg, and Declan. Felt tired, but was able to keep decent technique most of the time.

Running 13:15 [3] 1.98 mi (6:41 / mi)

To Prospect Park to meet Sergei for an easy run.

Running 37:17 [2] 4.97 mi (7:30 / mi)

Easy run with Sergei all over the park.

Running 2:00 [5] 0.32 mi (6:15 / mi)

Strides with Sergei after the run, 5x100m.

Running 13:17 [3] 1.98 mi (6:42 / mi)

Home from Prospect Park. For the first time, I am actually excited at the thought of a road race - the 10km in Central Park Sergei convinced me to do with him this Sunday.

Orienteering 13:37 [3] 1.98 mi (6:53 / mi)

To Prospect Park for some intervals, angry at myself for skipping the workout yesterday after being kept after school by some Evil Russian People (ERPs).

Running 23:09 [5] 3.65 mi (6:21 / mi)

Some sort of intervals in Prospect Park. I decided to do something closer to what Vlad recommended - longer interval (3:00), shorter rest (2:00). It worked nicely, and I hope to gradually increase the interval and decrease the rest. I felt stronger for each of the first four intervals, but weaker on the last one.

Running 16:08 [2] 2.25 mi (7:10 / mi)

Cooling down and running home.

T.rex training 30:00 [2]

Some excess energy when I got home.

Hey, Misha's in town! Maybe I'll even see him tonight. If anyone is wondering if his triumphant return to orienteering is imminent.....stay tuned . :(
