Rollerblading 1:10:00 [3]

A midnight fast-past rollerblading excursion with Simon Goddard, an Aussie orienteer who crashed with us last night. Stockholm is absolutely spectacular at night!! I had a fabulous time. Now - off to O-Ringen.

Orienteering 1:13:14 [2]

Long, weird orienteering run on the Lill Jansskogen map with Mike Eglinski and the Walkers. It was raining and we only had 2 maps, so we switched off each control or so. Then, we lost Kenny and spent about 30 minutes searching for him. We thought he was dead, which would be bad 'cause he had the only set of housekeys...But he wasn't dead, just strayed from us without a map or any clue where the next control was.

Orienteering 44:24 [3] 5.1 km (8:42 / km)

Drew circles on the Nacka map and ran a course in the rain. Very nice temperature to run at, and i felt good both running and orienteering. I am excited about O-Ringen now!! Can't wait to race again.
Tomorrow, we get an invasion of Americans and Aussies in our small apartment. Let's see how that works out...

Running 39:03 [2] 5.21 mi (7:30 / mi)

The easy section of the fartlek/trail run/map run we did today on our local map. We were feeling pretty lazy and had the day cut in half by laundry, so instead of going far away, we just stayed close by. Very, very muddy on some trails...

Running 9:14 [4] 1.43 mi (6:27 / mi)

The faster sections of the fartlek - we did these while following a line on the map, which made for some ultrafast orienteering. Good practice for Park-O, our new favorite discipline.

Running 26:20 [2] 3.29 mi (8:00 / mi)

Easy run down Valhallavägen at night in the rain on our first night back from Hungary. Stockholm is definitely starting to feel like home...
