Running 1:36:02 [2] 14.0 km (6:52 / km)
shoes: 2009 VJ Falcons

Tisdagsbana D2 with Linné. Got into Arlanda at 7:30am, went straight to Ångström for work. After work struggled to drag myself "home" with my big bag and skis, then snapped out of it and got to training. So great to see all the familiar faces! The course itself was mostly running on trails and smaller roads, with occasional shortcuts across deep snowy fields a la Stratton Brook. But the fun was in feeling part of a group, having other lamps lit up the darkness around you, and of course, the sauna, soup, and good company after the training. Spent most of the time running with Sofie and Mari, who did not miss a beat or have to slow down after her lamp went out.

Note

During tonight's run it was pointed out to me that Vasaloppet will be March 6th this year, and I will still be in Sweden then. Is there any reason not to do it? What do I absolutely need to do in order to finish the race without completely falling apart? Now that I've got the idea in my head, I really want to do it.
