Adventure Bike long (Gravel, rail trail) 7:35:00 [3] 87.5 mi (11.5 mph)

Long ride day......lots of wind, which actually changed to be in our favour at one point (bonus!) We looped around to Essex, back south to the 6th, up the Greenway and to Mt Malden (a couple trips up and down), then back south to McGregor where a piece of pizza sounded like a good idea. Naples doesn't have pizzas ready to go, so time elapsed includes waiting for them to make a baby cheese and pepperoni pizza, and the time required to eat it. Full disclosure: Paul and I each had 2 slices and shared a can of ginger ale, then put the other 2 slices in a zip lock bag and inhaled them as soon as we got home. We were hustling pretty hard after the pizza (which was followed by a Tums chaser, just to be safe).
I see in my future a crazy week at work, with long, long hours.

Adventure Bike (Gravel/pavement) 2:22:00 [3] 26.5 mi (11.2 mph)

Done work and changed into bike gear by 1 pm.....and off I went on the gravel around our office. Quite windy and cool (will it ever warm up?). I went down a couple dead end roads I've never been on. The Big Creek would be paddleable right now.
As I later told my co-workers, those who are most likely to throw beer cans out the window of their vehicles in Tilbury East Township are drinkers of Busch beer. Second most likely drink Labatts Blue products.
