Physical Red course set by Ben Hart on the coldest day so far this winter. The ground was rock hard; the trails were a mess of frozen hoof prints so off trail was easier going. I made slow progress to C13, including going over the peak of the hill to C6. (I wonder if Jim and Georghe wondered who the idiot I was yelling at was when at the top of the hill, I finally saw the around route on the map). I had no major problems finding the controls, albeit by less then optimal routes, until frozen brain and legs syndrome really set in and I didn't find C14. As I was close to 3 hr and controls were being picked up, I threw it in. My day was capped off with a two wet foot crossing of the creek as I approached the Go control.
