Craic 10k. Had spoken to John beforehand about pacing so the plan was 23 mins through the first 5k and then push through the second, aiming for somewhere close to 45. Started too fast but tried to settle in and to it. By the time I reached the top of the 'hill' (small incline) I was 35s ahead of schedule according to VP and so I went through 5k a little faster than expected. Tried to push on through the second 5 but struggled a bit coming over the foot bridge at the 8k mark. Tried just to hold on to the girl in front but didn't quite manage to get past in the sprint finish. Absolutely thrilled to have smashed the target time, and technically knocked 6 mins off my 10k PB (although causeway coast isn't exactly a fast course...)

145 /1131 and 14th women home :)
