Double road loop. Legs were not happy at the start but once the 2 hills at the start were over they eased up. Need to start doing this more regularly.

NI Road Relays, second leg of LVAC 'B' Team. Both our first leg runners came in pretty much together and but I didn't see much of Ursuala as she is so speedy. Overtook the Lisburn girl almost immediately and then had 2 girls in front as a target. Sperrins girl came flying past and I couldn't go with her, so I concentrated on reeling in one of the other girls and managed to pass her about 3/4 of the way round the first lap. Towards the end of the first lap a girl came past (no club kit) but I was able to keep her within 10m. Reckoned if I could keep her at that distance I would be able to kick past her at the end. Second lap was pure hell just trying to stay with her but with about 500m to go I pushed past her and tried to catch the Acorns girl up ahead but unfortunately she had a bit of a kick too so I was about 2s slower into the finish. Was slightly disappointed with the time as it was slower mins/k than my 5k in March and I was hoping to go faster but clearly the fitness isn't as good as it was earlier this year.

Corridor exercise in Hillsborough, got confused in the circle for 3 and wandered around for a bit and then got my map turned through 90 degrees going to the final control so the paths weren't making any sense so lost time there as well. Its so much easier just to rely on local knowledge, so I was trying really hard not to.
