Jog with Grant and Hoggster down to the arboretum on a beautiful day. Feeling a bit sleepy after a very early (and disappointing) morning watching the champions league final.

Indoors at Mitchell with Andy and Susie. Finished a few I couldn’t get through last time which was good.

Parkrun 17.36 plus jog down and back with Grant. Miles behind Grant who equaled my parkrun pb. A bit disappointed with my time considering how hard i pushed. Not feeling great maybe due to mtb yesterday which sometimes leaves me feeling crap when I run the next day.

Arvo jog, feeling pretty crap, partly because I went not long after lunch but also maybe because I didn’t stretch last night as quads were heavy and had no go.

Lap of lake g at lunchtime. Did 10 x 90sec hard, 30sec float. Usually when I do this the 30sec is very slow but tried to keep moving at at least 4mink today which made it a bit more like 20min tempo. Felt good and not too smashed at all when I finished so could have done more probably.

Lunchtime jog to ease back into some running after the weekends races. Felt pretty stiff to start with but got going ok after a few kn and was rolling along pretty easily at not much over 4min k after a while. Pretty flat run though.
