sunny! felt good,but weariness caught up. trails pretty dry, just amucky spot here and there. winds helped.

feel like running, but when it gets down to it, tired. hence this house and yard jog.

hard tempoish intervals w 1R on gravel track, huge tailwind, but that meant i had to jog back into the wind. from walgreens to metro station. 4:30,3:30, 3:11, 2:14, 2:19. I was hurting, and despite the tailwind I now know why, the composite mile of 3:30 and 3:11 was 6:41.

Saw a possum climbing a chain linkfence. And begged a bottle of water from a newly opened carwash on chippewa.

Note

I went to Aimee today. Have had a tight calf, but honestly thought it had been
pretty much resolved. Wrongo! painful knots and scar tissue. Thats not Aimee telling me that, its me feeling it as she goes to the pertinent areas w her x ray fingers. coupled w some IT band issues previously, we figure its me favoring the outside of my right foot (wear pattern on shoe confirms this) because of issues I have had w the ball of my big toe

another calf test run. one muscle strand still stiff, but I'm starting to wonder if all it needs is more running at this point.i love looking at the old growth pine floor striations as i run, a little like running iin the forest.

had to stop to put air in rear tire....and the frame pump wouldn't come off! had to rip the works off so I could ride on, luckily the pump valve didn't leak any air.
