Running in trail shoes this time, a little heavier. did some strides and steps in cooldown.
feeling stronger on these, strategy of doing more contained workouts is paying off w the desired result of being able to do more 'workout' days per week. First mile - "pretty good pace" (mispunched), loop 5:07, bringin' it home in 7:24
Big River Run from forest park to arch, w a little extra tacked on front and back end. Slow warmup and cooldown, but the last couple of miles w the arch in sight felt strong @ 8:15 pace. adjustment to pavement running.
