biking 2:30:00 [3]

to castlewood via transit, then back via father's house - including love trail up and down at castlewood

yellow dog yoga e.s. 10:00 [1]

orienteering race 1:25:00 [4]

Minimal warmup and cooldown, 1:17:09 for score O. Turns out I missed a difficult control (18) so I 'DQ'd', at least in my mind since all the controls were quite doable. Just didn't see it on the map when I planned my course. Plus I came to where 13 was supposed to be and didn't see it so moved on. Still a fun day, and it felt like a good run.

biking 3:05:00

idea was to sneak in a quick cx race and then do my long run. didn't quite work out that way. rode from bus stop in fenton to race. lined up in the back of the C race, since I haven't really done any hard bike riding at all. race went as well as could be expected, ended up just behind some old guys who had beat me in the past when I was actually in better bike shape, so that was encouraging.

Then rode into Chubb and back out. rode some technical stretches pretty well. This was all with a pack of stuff and 2 race wheels bungeed to the pack.

orienteering 30:00 [2]

West Tyson: Ouch, walk, jog walk jog. Jack Daniels kept dancing in front of my eyes "Do cross training if it doesn't take energy away from your running". Oh boy.

running 36:00 [2]

then ran back on chubb to bike, dog tired.
