SKI SEASON TRAINING HAS STARTED!!!!

Ran from the school to the ski center with the gang :)

TV watchers.
Medicine ball wall throws. (face a wall. Get into a twerking position. Grab 15lb medicine ball. Throw it at the wall 5ft above your head and catch it. Repeat till thighs burn.)
Grass burners. (Crunch position. Spread them legs out and forward. Go side to side and touch them.)
Leg throws. (Lay on back with legs at a 90 degree angle. Acquire someone to stand above your head. Grab their ankles for support. Then have them throw your legs around. Try to stop them from hitting the floor.)
Push up claps.
Upper body lounge. (Lay down, knees bent. lift head+shoulders to a 20 degree angle. Put arms behind head. Chill out for 6 minutes. Lay back down. Feel the burn.)

Got my pace down to 1:34/500m. Awesome considering the fact that I wasn't around for the summer work out. My goal for next week is to be at 1:30/500m, but we'll see!
Glad to be back on the Erg :)

Had to bike to my mentors house to pick up items for senior project, then go and present them to my students :D

Yay! Trail running at the center! Kinda had a lot of energy since I was sick for four days, but it felt good to get it all out! :)

Senior project this year for me is to teach the 3rd and 4th graders of my school how to orienteer. While teaching them, I am also reminding myself and reviewing all of the components of orienteering as I go along. Should I count this as sort of armchair O or not count it at all?
