spiked:11/11c shoes: More Miles Cheviot 3

CompassSport Trophy heat, Bampton Common. Fairly easy course, up the hill for 2 controls, which took nearly half the time, and back down again. 4.8k nominal distance. A bit blowy, but not too cold.

Ormskirk, pacing 29 mins in rain & howling wind. Difficult to judge, as the last 2k were a lot harder than the first two.

Treadmill with a simulation of Ormskirk parkrun. Found it quite hard to keep the pace up.

Lees Lane to Parbold Hill. Windy, but sheltered apart from coming down from the top of the hill, which was a bit brutal. Not too bad after a two-week layoff for skiing.
