Stretching warm up/down 10:00 [3]

Orienteering race 39:30 [5] ***
spiked:6/10c shoes: Inov-8 Mudclaw

First course on the east coast. I was careful in the beginning, so I could get used to the map and the terrain and footing. My navigation was solid, but there was a few spots where I could've saved some time, besides just running faster. Stayed cautious and ran slow, to avoid big mistakes

Orienteering 26:40 [3] 2.7 mi (9:53 / mi)
shoes: Inov-8 Mudclaw

Sprint, not happy with this at all. I was good through three, then butchered 4-7 and lost some confidence, second guessed myself through the rest of the race. This is the first sprint that was in the woods, so that might've messed with me a little, although I don't have much sprint experience total.

Misc. 1:00:00 [3]

Total time throwing frisbees, tennis balls, playing jackpot and pelt

Running race 7:25 [5] 2.0 km (3:43 / km)
shoes: Adidas Adizero Avanti

Steeplechase! Wore myself out in the first lap trying to avoid the mess of the pack, but still one guy sprinted to the lead and used his hands on the first barrier and flung himself over and I about spiked him in the face. I fell on the third water jump, and almost fell on the fourth, and fifth I just jumped in the water. Finished 4th and P.R.ed by six seconds, and I was really tired when I finished.

I was suprised at the time, I finished 8th, which I also didn't expect. Met this guy from Toledo Ohio, he was hilarious from check in to after the race,

Ultimate frisbee, had some really awesome throws, and some embarrassing ones too. We had to stop at 2-2, which is unfortunate

In the park again, finally. Went out to the observation deck at the end of lakeshore, and back. The time includes stopping at the deck for a few minutes
Felt pretty tough, especially on the hills and towards the end

Felt great the first lap, at 1:04, then during the backstretch, I just got tired, I didn't hit a wall, but was unable to maintain the pace
