Running (Pacer) 10:00 [4] 2.4 km (4:10 / km)

120 lengths, not bad. Knees hurt a ton after that though :/ No idea how long it takes, I'll just say 10 mins (??) One length is 20 m long.

Football race 1:20:00 [5]

Tough game. I feel like there was something on Monday but I'm not sure, so I won't put anything. I have a concert Wednesday and Thursday so not doing anything then

This course was not fun. The forest was mapped completely white, but most of it was light to dark green. There were thorns and plants everywhere, and my legs feel like needles drove a centimeter into my skin. It's quite terrible. I started timing at control 3. The map was a corridor, so it made it twice as hard to keep track of everything when you're gritting your teeth from the pain. I hope this makes my skin tougher or something?

4x800, I could have done better, what a shame

Running race 2:25 [5] 0.5 mi (4:50 / mi)

Another 2:25 in the open 800 :/ I'll have to turn up the training a little for next season.

Football race 30:00 [4]

Didn't play that long, but we played Hudson and won by a lot. It was right after my race and I got to the game halfway through.

Running 25:05 [3] 4.55 km (5:31 / km)

We ran in the woods, and I learned today that non-orienteers aren't quite as good as orienteers at running through the woods. I think today was a lazy day for them because practice was cancelled for JV, but still, we were quite slower than I would've liked.

Football race 1:20:00 [3]

First half went pretty well, but I got put in as goalkeeper for the second half. I touched the ball once, and it wasn't even close to going into the goal. :/

Soccer practice

Sunday May 17, 2015 #

Note

Played a hardcore version of croquet today, with hills and playgrounds and sand and trees and gas tanks...not a workout, but I thought I should put that here anyway.

Football (Goalkeeping) 1:30:00 [1]

I'm a backup goalkeeper for my team now that our other backup broke his arm, so...I thought it would be good to go to the goalkeeping session our club has. Not hard in terms of running, but I got some good balance and reaction training in there.

Swimming 40:00 [1]

For future reference, JFF is just for fun. It's for when I have no clue WHAT exactly I'm doing, but it still seems to be some kind of workout. So yeah. It was like a combination of soccer, basketball, frisbee, lacrosse, and football.

Slow day with mah buddy. Shin STILL not feeling good. Taking it easy over the weekend, with a few hot baths thrown in there. Hope it heals quickly.

Break day, right shin still feels not so good.

Football race 1:20:00 [4]

Worked a little harder than yesterday, but still won something like 6-0 or 7-0...our keeper is only playing half the game in goal because he gets too bored. Tomorrow will be harder though, so I can't wait!
12 PM

Orienteering race (Red) 58:50 [4] 6.9 km (8:32 / km)

My friend from school came along today, and he loved it!! He won both the white-yellow and orange course, and that's with JROTC there AND it was his first time ever! He's already looking forward to interscholastics! :D By the way, two minutes behind Tom Puzak, seven minutes behind Michael on the red course. Not bad for my first red! Also, it's labeled race, but I guess it's sorta kinda training, not exactly A-meet level but whatever. It was a race.

5 PM

Football race 1:20:00 [3]

We walked all over the other team, score was something like 8-0 before coach told us to tone it down. Doesn't even deserve an intensity of 5 or even 4.

Thursday May 7, 2015 #

Note

Soccer game was cancelled due to rainy weather...what a shame.

Wednesday May 6, 2015 #

Running warm up/down 6:18 [2] 0.94 mi (6:42 / mi)

Running 15:23 [3] 2.05 mi (7:30 / mi)

Cramped hard in the center of my chest. 15 minutes in I took a break because the cramp was waaaaay to intense, then finished it up. The rest of my run is logged as separate, but it's the same run. (Break was 4:51, it was really bad....)

Running 7:35 [2] 0.92 mi (8:14 / mi)

Still cramping when I got running, and I took a shortcut to make it back for weight room. Today was not my day...

Running race (4x800) 2:24 [5] 0.5 mi (4:48 / mi)

Team total time was 9:43. I think this was a pretty good first race of the meet.
6 PM

Running (Open 800) 2:22 [5] 0.5 mi (4:44 / mi)

I thought that this was a really good time, I did great with my pacing this time, as I was in the faster heat at the JV meet. 4th place in my heat, 5th place overall.
7 PM

Running (4x400) 1:00 [5] 0.25 mi (4:00 / mi)

This caught me a little off guard, but it went really well. I didn't lose or gain ground on second place, so that's good. I didn't stand in the way of beating 4 minutes as a team either! [Edit:] I just realized that the second sentence is a little confusing. We got first place in the 4x400 race, what I meant is I kept ahead of second place, us being in first place.

Running warm up/down 6:08 [2] 0.94 mi (6:31 / mi)

Took this one really easy, all my muscles were and are sore. All of them. Wasn't timing, but my friend gave me this time.

Running warm up/down 15:00 [0] 1.0 mi (15:00 / mi)

Cooldown run between each intervals. Time is probably not fifteen minutes, I just know it was long. Those 200 cooldowns can take a while.

Football race 1:10:00 [5]

This game really put our skills on display. We played extremely well, outplaying their team a lot. If only we could finish better...we won 4-1 though.
4 PM

Football race 1:10:00 [5]

So...turns out we made it to the finals. At this point my muscles are really sore, but that didn't stop our team. We played super aggresive, mostly because we were having a rematch with the team we lost to in the first game on Saturday. There was lots of shoving going on, and during the second half the game got called because, less than 15 minutes later, there were half dollar sized hailstones falling everywhere, to the point where our lawn was half white, and there was lightning all over the place too. We won the game 2-1 and took the tournament win. :)

Football race 1:00:00 [5]

Game, race, whatever, same diff. First game of the NSC Spring Cup, it didn't go so hot for us, we lost 4-1. Might be the early wake-up time though.
12 PM

Football race 1:10:00 [5]

Not sure if halves were 30 minutes or 35 minutes...we won this one 1-0 though, we played pretty well.

Friday May 1, 2015 #

Running race (4x800) 9:45 [5] 2.0 mi (4:52 / mi)

This was at the JV meet. We were the only team running this event....
Splits were given to us by coach, but from what I see it doesn't add up to 9:45.....whatever though, I'm pretty sure I got a 2:24. It was really hard to pace, push, and motivate yourself because you're the only runner.

Running race 2:24 [5] 0.5 mi (4:48 / mi)

Another 800, got the same time...darn.
