Here's my 3k time. I'm getting confused about what my watch is saying, but I ran 7.5 laps so I'll just assume that's GPS error. According to my watch I was pacing at 3'22 per km, so I thought I had it, but apparently that wasn't actually true...wish I could have paced properly but whatever, I'll forget about it and focus on team trials.

90 minute scrimmage against the '99s, won 2-1. They were pretty pissed at the end, didn't expect to lose against us. Most of their team just headed off to their bench afterwards, didn't shake our hands. Overall good game though, things are turning out good.

60 minutes total scrimmage against a premier team, tied 1-1. They had a lot of possession but didn't do anything with it, so overall we played pretty well. Our positioning was prime.

Printed out two armchair maps, read the first on the first loop then slowed down for the rest, read the second on the second loop and held my finishing pace for the rest of the run. Very interesting, reading maps while I ran made me a lot more tired and sweaty. Also had to virtually stop two or three times because the detail was just too much for a faster pace.

Navigation overall went really well, and with the stress riser gone the focus will be on bringing my physical back up and making sure I don't get sick over team trials. Get some of those vitamins in my system. Was pretty tired.

Not that happy with my race, but my face and throat also feels like a battlefield so I think I'm going to excuse a thing or two. Stress riser seems to have gone away, no pain. Navigationally, nailed the difficult controls, took some bad bearings out of controls, which is weird because I planned my exits, and two easy controls gone a little bit awry because of a bad compass.
