Did this with my soccer team, my coaches told me I was going too fast and I should hang back and help my teammates push through.....done in two sets of 1.2 kilometers (4:58, 5:17). The reason my times were so slow are because the first four, they actually told us it would be nine laps so I paced for that. The second time they wanted me to hang back.

Note

"Ran" up a mile long staircase with 600 meters of climb, followed by a three mile run back downhill. Started doing a loop exercise, but we stopped halfway through and picked up controls from that exercise and the next one.

10 Miles total. 8 kilometer course, but easier than the 7 k because it was quite flat. Hit a time of about an hour for that one. Then we did a relocation practice, where they would lead us somewhere without our maps and we would try to find our way to the control. This was followed by a control-pick course, where we focused on always moving and keeping in contact with the map. We also practiced envisioning what was inside the circle.

Total mileage is about 9 miles. We did a 7.4 k course with some intense uphills and downhills. It had a normal part, a bearing part, a contour part, and a corridor. Good stuff. Then we did another course, and the third one was just control pickups.

Follow The Leader Run, got a group of guys together and we ran whatever we felt, taking turns leading. The average was 7:55, but I think I went a little too hard on my turn, I pushed our group to run a 7:30 or so for about 7 minutes before I let us slow down.

Running race 5:05 [5] 1.0 mi (5:05 / mi)

We had a meet today, and it was super windy and a little cold. Whatever my normal time would have been in a 800, I was definitely quite a bit slower. I say 5:05 and one mile, but I actually just raced the 4x800 relay and the open 800. The 4x800 open went pretty well, and according to my coach my personal split was 2:28. I'm actually really happy with that because I expected to get much worse because of the intense wind, but I must have pushed through it pretty hard, because 2:28 is quite good. The second race was terrible for me. I had pretty good start, but near the end of the first lap I got stuck behind my teammate, no room to pass him because there was someone next to him, and someone next to me. I was boxed in. The other thing was there were tired, while I was not. I couldn't get around them without wresting my way through a few people, so I lost five to eight seconds stuck behind slow runners who went too hard at the beginning.....it's quite a shame. I ended up getting sixth place or so and my coach's math doesn't add up, because according to my laps I should be 2:37 and for my full time he wrote 2:31 or something like that. I don't know what to trust. I also managed to leave my bag with my spikes at the meet, I'm a little stressed because of some wacky business I have to deal with in school (PE teachers want me to do make-up assignments for doing three times more work outside of class than they do in class, what's up with that? There's also a reaaaallly badly taught online course I'm taking that is making less and less sense as the semester goes on), so I really hope I can get it back......
