Had a good run and felt good running wise. Nearly took the route choice through the man-eating marsh, but (fortunately) saw a man being eaten by it so decided to go around... No mistakes and it was a really enjoyable area!! Kinda sucked when I downloaded and realised id completely missed #5 out - oops :/ I was 6mins (!!!) begin Grace M anyway but less than 1 behind Abi and Lindsay.

RtC, Balmoral. Green, 3.85km.
Not good race prep it having taken us 10.5hrs to get to the event and only having sandwiches for tea... Legs were not having anything, especially the hills! Basically walked the whole course:/ No major mistakes, just a slight miss on #7 where I was quite hesitant and went about 50m past it - lost ~1min. Kathryn B and Grace M caught me at #7 by 8 and 5 minutes. Hopefully will feel better for tomorrow...
Edit: Somehow ended up 6th/80 on the green! All scots girls in front of me though... There were some very long times - wow :/

Giants U16: 8 minute run. Drills working on movement and defending, then matchplay to put it into practice.

Giants Seniors: 8 minute run (again:/). Just matchplay tonight so got two 10 mins matches at C/WD.

Longer run tonight but all on main roads so pretty boring. Mins/km are faster than usual because I think I gained more time on the downhills than I lost on the uphills if you get me.. Which I guess is a positive because I often struggle on hills and cant run particularly fast downhill!!

Sat on the bus on the way home from school contemplating going for a run, but by the time I was home id decided my legs were still stiff and a day off wouldnt be such a bad idea after a 17k weekend. Feel better this morning (Tues) ;)

RtC Stirling urban, Women's open (brown), 6.5km
Alright run just very slow from tiredness. First section in the castle was so much fun, but so tricky! Just didnt spot the shortest route to #4 (being a tiny gap between two walls) and tried to go two routes that were wrong and then ended up going all the way around :/ Lost ~1min. Next lot were all good! #12 was a huuuge leg! Never had one that long in an urban race:/ Picked a route and stuck to it and I dont think it was that bad! I saw another but it was just too faffy:/ #20 was another long leg because you had to go miles off the line to cross the railway:/ two route choices but definitely picked the right one! #27 was a killer up a huge hill after id already run 8.5k -.- Then the rest was all more intricate stuff at the end. #33-36 were really annoying because they were in different sections that you had to go out of back to the road and then up the hill a bit then back in - I did this 3 times for these controls -.-
Felt absolutely shattered at the finish but not surprisingly considering ive probably never run a 10k o-race before... Came 11th out of 31 - but 1 min behind Laura today which is a bit frustrating ;) Overall pretty pleased with my weekend racing and definitely did better than I was expecting to! :-)

RtC Edinburgh Urban, Women's Open (Brown), 5.3km
Excited for my first ever urban event that wasn't a junior 16- :D Went steady because I didn't want to die off :/ went in too early for #4 and ended up at the wrong inside corner! Everyone seemed to do the same thing.... Lost ~1min. Pretty pleased with an 11th= out of 41 finishers :)
Edit: Don't know about the rest of the course because I left my map at Alex's -.- so ill look at it next week!
