Running (Run to Physio) 9:05 [4] 1.94 km (4:41 / km) +21m 4:27 / km
ahr:144 max:161 shoes: ASICS GEL - Nimbus 17

Physio told me to run hard directly before the session for 10 minutes so that the treadmill test would be more effective.

So I know it was roughly 2km so I pushed hard there...

Set a 1km pb (4.32) and had I had some more distance would have maybe been 4.25, either way, was nice to be running even though I can feel the fitness has slipped just pushing for that distance! oh dear.

Note

With the Physio on the treadmill.

So despite my left leg being smaller in size the force and contact time was actually reasonably balanced.

It seems though I'm putting too much force down and my cadence is a way to slow so she's given me targets and drills to change my cadence which she believe will sort out my issues.

Interestingly at a faster pace, my left side does show some signs of fatigue vs my right so there is a bit of strength work to be done but the main thing is upping the cadence.

Would have done a km or 2 on the treadmill... really don't like treadmills.

Running (Run home from Physio) 10:08 [3] 1.92 km (5:17 / km) +22m 5:00 / km
ahr:178 max:185 shoes: ASICS GEL - Nimbus 17

Run home from the physio trying this new cadence thing out...

Telly ou what it feels weird and is hard work - feels like you are barely lifting your feet - that said I felt like there was less impact and despite it being slower than going there I can understand why so something to work on! Plus I wasn't breaking myself to go fast so good result I guess.
