Did my first SR of the year - and first run in a long time.

Did it 100% map memory and only made 2 small mistakes (helped it's my back yard practically) which probably cost me 100 m or so (200 tops).

Also ran with a metronome at 170 as apparently I need faster cadence. was tricky getting into it but I think I got there. Will be interesting to see if im less sore I certainly felt like I was hitting the ground a lot softer.

Certainly unfit but did the course faster than I expected so happy with the result.

Was a nice night for running

God I am unfit!

super enjoyable but was very slow - Dave S was happy to cater to me though thankfully!

Was a tad on the warm side so ran out of water and had I (a) taken a pack and (b) not been a wimp probably would have done another 30-45 mins but sensibly packed it in.

Feeling sore and dehydrated now though ahah.

Garmin reliably says first time on a single trail since Jan last year, 1st time on mtb since May in Dryandra (rogaining training weekend) and 1st time on a bike since September... 38km not a bad effort even if it was slow!
