Not too bad for my first hard run since November. Felt great to be running with a map in my hand! Didn't worry too much about pushing hard, especially about going down hill. So really happy being 3:45 behind Alex!
Only real mistake was #17. Didn't look for the control on my way down to #15 and then on the way back thought I was much further up the hill than I was. Probably cost me 30-45 seconds. I'll also blame lack of oxygen and my poorer fitness, because I was a little befuddled. I also probably could have done better on #16--should have gone through the narrow bit of 'green.' Not sure why I didn't, as I did on #2 and #11 (cut a little bit off to catch the track higher up the hill).
