Energy levels felt better than expected especially considering I forgot an energy gel. I lost what felt like two minutes on the first control which was a rough way to start a 9k course, but after that my navigation was pretty good. I made sure to read every leg fully, and even stopped before both long legs to really study the map which paid off.

What a joy to run on an all-women CSU relay team! Thanks to my lovely, giggly teammates Alex and Ali!
I ran leg 2 and was alone the entire time so it didn't really feel like a relay, but still an enjoyable course.
