We revisited the location of our last training on which we all failed during our mock race. We walked almost the entire course and figured out our mistakes and compared routes. So helpful and very cathartic!

Race simulation with everyone! We're working on compiling all the routes into 2D Rerun so I'll post the link to that later. Like everyone else, I thought I was going to come in DEAD last after a huge mistake at my tenth control where I wandered around in green for a while before finally relocating off the white hilltop to the east of my control. I was pissed and stomped around in more green getting to the trail to 11 and got a temporarily stuck in the marsh right next to the road. When I finally ran into the parking lot and only saw the guys standing next to their car I assumed all the girls were already back and in the van waiting for me to finish. Surprise! I was the first lady finisher. The GPS tracks are pretty entertaining :)
