So, unlike my normal panicky navigation during sprints I was level-headed and made smart decisions today. Clean run except a massive mistake (30 secs... embarrassing) where I blew past the doorway I was looking for. Very unhappy knee today. I'm excited to not make it do anything tomorrow.

I was thinking of quitting after the fifth control and run back on the trail, but the rest of the course was basically on the way so... I finished. Pretty clean navigationally! After yesterday my focus was on clean approach and visualization of the circle and that's what I did. Also got to run past like five cows over the course of the first three legs.

Pretty successful course today. I made quite a few bobbles but never lost more than a minute I think. I was able to run hard the whole time, and even run up some hills (wow!). My knee was tight after the warmup so I just decided to put it out of my mind and focus on the orienteering. It was painful the whole time but nothing crazy. It's very tight right now though! All of the girls had similar times which is great.

4 mins of running, then drills. Erin and I went to a track today and did a bunch of different drills including some hurdle drills. I did two easy jogging laps of the soccer field between each new group of exercises. My knee only started hurting at the very end when I was doing some faster running.
