When you'd rather run an extra two and a half miles than run up bates...questionable decision haha. I actually found the right way to get on the birmingham bridge as a pedestrian though, so maybe the detour was worth it...

Running (Trail) 47:20 [3] 5.23 mi (9:03 / mi)

Decided to go trail running today. I was going to go to Boyce Park, but decided there wasn't enough time before it would be dark so I just went to Frick instead. Even with my handy orienteering map I still managed to get lost twice, and run off the trail once. To be fair, it was a bit hard to read the map while on the run, on a bumpy trail, with my eyes watering from the cold. Trail running was quite a nice change of pace though, and you know what they say - trail running feeds the soul.

Tried going to the gym before yoga...I guess it worked out alright, 3X10:
Deadlifts (135#)/Barbell tricep extension (20#)
Split-let squats (40#)/Dumbbell bench press (25# per side)
Barbell lunges (60#)/Assisted neutral-grip pullups (#6)

Wall yoga today...that was interesting

This was a really nice run except running through downtown at 5pm was a mistake. I had to stop A LOT to cross streets, and there's no way you can jaywalk when there's that much traffic. Also this ended up being kind of far...
