Nice Saturday afternoon run! I really like the new place I'm living because it's right next to the park, which is a perfect way to end my runs - I absolutely can't wait for the fall! Also, I get to do some new running routes which is always good, especially since I was getting really bored with the usual places I would run from my old apartment.
Running after work and this is what happens when I don't run very much. I did 21 minutes out and then turned around with the goal of being faster on the way back. LOL. Apparently I was a minute and a half faster which is a lot considering I wasn't running that far. The fact that it was downhill helped, but the difference is still ridiculous. I think I felt tired and figured it was cause I haven't been running much so I waaay overcompensated. It still didn't feel that awful the second half though, I was pretty much just on autopilot for the last mile and a half. Hopefully now that I'm almost done with this moving craziness I'll get back into my running routine.
Finally went back to the gym after a couple of week of being busy and moving and stuff. I definitely felt the hiatus... 3X10: Front squats (70#)/Curls (15# per side) Single-leg deadlifts (40#)/Incline bench press (27.5# per side) Curtsy lunges (30#)/Assisted pull-ups (12@6, then 2 sets of 10@5) Back extensions/Leg lifts (15 per set for both) Planks (1:30 middle, 1 min each side)
