Note

So I've gotten super behind on logging so I'm not even going to try to catch up. I took a couple of weeks off of running because I was feeling really burnt out and the weather has been crappy for so long. Starting easing back into it this week (2x haha) and it actually felt really good. I think the break helped and I'm feeling excited to start running again...hopefully the weather will start staying nice for more than a day at a time soon - I'm so ready for spring!

Running 1:04:15 [3] 7.51 mi (8:33 / mi)

What a beautiful day for running, in spite of the somewhat aggressive wind! I felt really good taking it easy, and somehow my endurance is better than it was before I took 2 weeks off of running? I guess the cross training has been doing its work. I will say that over an hour of running today was still less exhausting than the 20 minute workout I did on the rowing machine yesterday...

A 'long' run today, which wasn't all that long because how little I've been running lately. It was a beautiful day and I ran along the 3 rivers heritage trail to downtown and then back home up fifth. The first half was really nice, and it wasn't as hard as I expected to run this far. I could do with a lot more of this weather for running :)

Finally kind of warming up here (we got some lovely snow here for 'spring' break), so I got myself out the door to run. It wasn't bad once I got outside, but I have a really hard time motivating myself to go out when it's cold :/

Hiking out at the Lower Quilcene Trail with my mom. Surprisingly very snowy, and we missed the camp we meant to stop at so ended up at the other parking lot which had a foot+ of snow still. Probably went 12ish miles, ~60-70% of which was in the snow.

Trail running with my mom on my favorite trails out by Indianola. A slightly different (and thankfully shorter) route than what we did over break, but I was surprised and how much of it I remembered. <3 these trails

Ran horsepoop today, and managed to run into some horseback riders. Of course I passed them right before the touch and turn so then I had to pass them a second time about a minute later. I also forgot how much that hill sucks, because it just keeps going uphill after the 'top.' Good change of scenery though running at home.

Wow, that was a wet run. I wasn't really paying attention to how much it was raining when I was getting to leave, and by the time I got outside and saw I had already committed. A pretty short run, but I still managed to get soaking wet. At least I went though...
