Running 1:35:00 [3] 11.44 mi (8:18 / mi)

Well that was a lot farther than I meant it to be. Also a ton of traffic for the first and last thirds. The middle was nice running along trail without having to deal with traffic. Time is probably a bit of an overestimate with all the stopping I had to do at traffic lights.

An easy run with Kevin. We decided to run across the newly reopened Greenfield bridge but this ended up being a lot more uphill than I had anticipated. A very long hill to get up to the bridge, and then a bit more after the bridge as well. Then Kevin convinced me to take the path through Schenley home even though it was dark...luckily it wasn't too dark because it's winter so a lot of light still gets to the path. Would not run that in the dark in the summer though, or by myself any time of year for that matter.

Running (Trail) 47:20 [3] 5.23 mi (9:03 / mi)

Decided to go trail running today. I was going to go to Boyce Park, but decided there wasn't enough time before it would be dark so I just went to Frick instead. Even with my handy orienteering map I still managed to get lost twice, and run off the trail once. To be fair, it was a bit hard to read the map while on the run, on a bumpy trail, with my eyes watering from the cold. Trail running was quite a nice change of pace though, and you know what they say - trail running feeds the soul.

This was a really nice run except running through downtown at 5pm was a mistake. I had to stop A LOT to cross streets, and there's no way you can jaywalk when there's that much traffic. Also this ended up being kind of far...
