Running 52:00 [3] 6.16 mi (8:26 / mi)

Pretty uneventful run. Cars turning right kept not yielding to me as a pedestrian which was annoying. I'm enjoying the warm weather (being able to run in a t-shirt in November!) but I'm pretty sure tomorrow is the last day of it before it gets cold again.

Strength 35:00 [3]

First time at the gym in like a month so I'm guessing I'm gonna be pretty sore tomorrow. It was unusually crowded when we got there, which was weird since I went later than usual. I finally convinced my friend to do weights with me but I have a feeling she's not gonna be able to move tomorrow...oops!
Dumbell Press (27.5# per side)
Barbell lunges (60#)
Rows (30#)
Overhead tricep extension (20#)
Deadlifts (115#, these were rough today)
Curl to overhead press (#15)

Running 43:00 [3] 5.27 mi (8:10 / mi)

Finally back to running after an inconsistent month between life and sickness and holidays. I should be able to get back into a good routine now though, at least for a couple of weeks. It was quite a mild night for running today which was nice, and I didn't feel too awful considering the much too small amount I have been running recently. Glad to know it didn't all go out the window. Gotta take advantage of the not freezing weather when it's here! Now off to eat some leftover pie...

Running 47:10 [3] 5.0 mi (9:26 / mi)

Nice turkey trot jog to start off the holiday. Then enjoyed hosting my first thanksgiving and it actually went surprisingly well! I didn't completely mess up the turkey so I'm considering it a success!

Running 35:00 [3] 4.2 mi (8:20 / mi)

Luckily you don't need a voice to be able to run haha. Actually felt pretty good running today...I wish it wasn't always dark when I'm home during the week though. And it's starting to not even be light anymore when I get up. Really approaching winter now, and we might get some snow on Sunday - we'll see!

Orienteering 1:50:00 [3] 6.5 km (16:55 / km) +285m 13:53 / km

Last orienteering meet of the year, and it was a beautiful fall day. The course went fairly smoothly although I'm pretty sure I ran right past control 3, and then I had to climb back up the hill to get it. Also, the combination of leaf-covered rocky ground made this prime ankle-spraining terrain. I rolled my ankles about 20 times but luckily nothing too serious - it definitely slowed me down a lot though cause I was trying not to break my ankle in the middle of the woods. A fun course for the last meet of the year though, and I appreciated that the vegetation wasn't too thick, probably due to the fact that it's almost winter.

Racquetball 40:00 [3]

Some fun saturday morning racquetball with Kat...best of 3 but I won the first 2 so we stopped after that. We had some really good volleys though!

Running 29:00 [3] 3.4 mi (8:32 / mi)

I hate daylight savings time because now it's usually dark by the time I get home from work. Getting really used to running in the dark I guess...

Running 50:00 [3] 6.12 mi (8:10 / mi)

So when I said I was going to be sore from the gym, I didn't realize quite how sore. I feel fine until I try to walk and then boy, does the pain kick in. Pretty much my entire lower body hurts when I move it. It actually wasn't too bad when I was running - I felt pretty good notwithstanding the constant hurting that was happening from moving my muscles. It was a nice night for running - perfect temperature, but I ended up getting home way later than I meant to which sucked because I had a ton of stuff to do. I ended up getting most of it done anyway though which was good.
