Orienteering 1:18:30 [3] 5.4 km (14:32 / km) +280m 11:33 / km
shoes: Innovate 280

Green course at Pohick Bay. It was really fun, and there were some nice long legs on the course, but I was pretty sloppy inside the control circle. I kept bobbling controls, I think because I just got there and expected to see the control right away. Also, I wasn't really paying close attention to the features inside the control circle, so lots of times I'd run across something distinctive and then have to look back at the map to find what it was. I'd be faster if I read ahead and planned more, and could anticipate what was going to come up on the map.

Orienteering 39:14 [3] 3.5 km (11:13 / km) +175m 8:58 / km
shoes: Innovate 280

Ran the yellow course fast with my dad after the green. It was pretty easy navigation, but again, I found myself not reading ahead/not planning ahead as much as I could have, and I actually did make some minor mistakes. Well, it'll just be something else to work on!

Rock Climbing 1:20:00 [3]

After the exam today Rushmie and I climbed basically all afternoon. We started out bouldering, and I did a couple V1s and tried some V2s, and then we rope climbed. I did a 5.10a, an easy 5.9, and a hard 5.8. We finished off with more bouldering but by then my arms were giving out so all I could manage was some V1s and a lot of V-intros.

Rock Climbing 40:00 [3]

All bouldering, all day. I did a lot of V1s and V2s, and near the end I went up a long V-intro three times, fast, to get a good workout in. Rushmie and Pria and I also did some negatives and assisted pullups. I can sort of do a chin-up but definitely not a pullup yet. (I'm always closer, though!)

Armchair Orienteering 20:00 [0]

Did half of this week's training. I'll save the rest for some other time this week.
