Foxglove Oval. Getting ready for Little A's in two weeks. Remeasured 10x110m sprint track lanes, javelin and 3 x shot put sectors. Can't decipher the measuring wheel at the moment. It measures 99.5m over 100m for most of the lanes going S, but 99.2m for the same lanes going N! Got to get this sorted before I do the circular track bends tomorrow.

Two more Flag Counter visits from GB (8) moves into clear third from Phillippines (6).

"Landfall" - Northern Classic, Dilston, Tasmania. Entered the M35AS event on the Hard 4 course (5.2km, +180m, 10c). One of the briefing instructions said that none of the courses crossed any creeks. What he failed to mention was that the entire course resembled a watercourse. Probably 2/3 of the distance was on boggy cow paddocks with sharp rocks and poo everywhere. The other 1/3 was in semi-cleared native forest with fallen trees everywhere. All fences were topped with barbed wire. Gates were in the corners. Finished 1st/12. Didn't win any legs. 2nd fastest on #1-2,4-5,7-8. Hit lead at #7.

Symmons Plains, Tasmania. A very tough course. Adam finished 62nd/88 (22:11) for 6km in U18s. Bethany was 21st/44 (24:50) for 6km in U20s. They're both pretty happy with their runs. Bethany picked up two silver medals from the school teams competition and from Sunday's 5x2km relay.

Symmons Plains, Tasmania. Inspection of the 3km loop for the Australian Cross Country Championships. It's been raining on/off for a few days so it's quite soft (wet) underfoot. Slight climb within the first km including a jump on/over a set of haybales. Muddy in sections which will get worse after the preceding races have completed 23 laps (for Adam) and 25 laps (for Bethany).
