All going to plan until Grindslow Knoll, given fitness levels. Then the wheels fell off pretty spectacularly - could barely walk the last downhill. ITB tightened considerably and then medial quad muscles decided to follow.

Got pretty cold on the slow slow hobble back to the Village Hall - tea and pie and biscuits were appreciated but still had the temp up at 27C in the car on the way home...

Easy run out from home, around Shobnall and a short loop on Sinai. Quite warm out. Some muscles complaining a little.

Not the best training run-up to tomorrow but we'll see how it goes - and how the weather gods treat us...

Club run from Walton - no pre-recce of route so just wing it and hope. One little extra loop so not too bad. Probably nicer to run around in daylight though. Legs not feeling too bad after Sunday's excursion so taking that as a positive.
