A wander around the 3 Peaks - turned out to be the same day as the cyclocross race (which looked fun and daunting at the same time) so the Whernside/Ribblehead area was particularly busy.

Yesterday's wanderings may not have been the best of plans, but got round with plenty of stops and had a good day out. Don't think I'd attempt the fell race unless I was a fair bit fitter...

Loop from Castleton - up the Limestone Way, across to Great Hucklow, up over Abney Moor/Bradwell Edge before descending to the Hope Valley and back along to Castleton. Without the track/road descent this would be a really good route. Fairly leisurely, various muscles a tad achy.

Club run (off road) from Rolleston. Dark in the evenings now :( Rattling along at a faster than usual pace in a couple of sections - need to remind the legs how that feels every so often...
