Usual loop around the Chess Valley and local woodlands. Forest looking very open after the recent snows, so diverted back through that way at the end - expecting Burnham and Hambleden to be lightning fast this spring. Less wet and muddy than on Christmas Day, when I last did this run.
Knee Pain - almost non-existent - a bit noticeable on one of the uneven downhills, but not the steep one.
Fitness - almost non-existent... though the last hill felt easier than last time.
Vague plan to get knee pain-free is working OK at the moment - fingers crossed...
Bit longer today, aiming for 20-25 mins but overshot a little. Primarily off road so a bit more strain on the knee, as needing to stabilise more. Bit of ache about 20 mins in, after a downhill stretch, but ok again a couple of minutes later on the flatter stuff.
No pain on single leg squat immediately after run, which I'm taking as a good sign.
