Part 1 of the beginning of a long trek...
Hoping to be out for about 50 mins, changed my mind on route half way round which added a bit of extra distance and climb, but meant I didn't double back on myself. A bit of hesitation at points as it was a new route, and typically fell right across the map fold.
Went out to the east of Burton, and once off the roads it was a mixed bag - woodland, snow, hills, puddles and muddy agricultural fields. Gets some good terrain practice in, anyhow. Felt fairly fresh initially but the hills were harder work than I'd hoped. Going out on an empty stomach probably didn't help either.
