Dynamic stretching, drills and strides to warm up, muscles not feeling particularly flexible. Some very easy jogging to coll down, calves making themselves known at this point.

3 sets of 1000, 600, 400 with 1' between reps, 1 easy lap between sets.
Running felt a bit better this week, first set felt fairly easy, second 1km was hard to keep pace, but with shorter recoveries than last week managed to get through the session. A bit easier mentally when you know each rep is shorter than the previous one!
Times - trying to run 45" laps again:
3:46, 2:12, 1:27 (2:23 rest)
3:45, 2:15, 1:28 (3:35 rest)

Found I needed to 'float' the first lap otherwise went off too fast, especially for the shorter distances after the 1' recoveries. Sometimes it seems the longer recovery periods make you feel worse when it comes to the next rep than the shorter ones...
