BAOC Long-O at Longmoor and Woolmer - not sure whether to classify this as a long run or orienteering as was the same as the medium MTBO course. Was a good long run though, judged the pace quite well as legs were starting to go by the end, especially with a finish split that started with an uphill slog up a very sandy path. Quite happy with the endurance, never seemed to be travelling at a great pace, and the difference between path and terrain running was really obvious at times.
Only controls that were slightly messed up were #3, when drifted 50m south because had taken compass off thumb as hands were freezing - a couple of controls later they were warm again. #5 was on a section of OS map linking the two areas and there was (unsurprisingly) an unmarked path halfway down the hill - distance judgement told me hadn't gone down far enough and map said it was in a reentrant so that was corrected fairly quickly.
Enjoyable, far more so than a plain boring long run sans map...
