M21L @ Ash Ranges. Nice area, but a bit too much heather which made it hard going and hadn't much left physically come 2/3 the way round. Two things navigationally - stupid route choices with heather-based mentality, and lack of confidence to attack controls - too many times was < 30m away and was far too hesitant because I couldn't see the control. Otherwise was fairly solid. Just an easy run tomorrow methinks...
OUCCC Cuppers, PortMeadow. Very knackering, good to see I can push myself round one of these things though. Still reckon I'd have been faster with a map, although it might have been quite depressing to see yet another long path run ahead of me ;) Unsurprisingly aching a bit from it afterwards.
Short hill session with Helen with XC cuppers coming tomorrow. Six 90sec reps up middle of South Parks and jog back down again. Pretty gusty out there!
XC Intervals, 3 sets of 3(1),1(30),2 with 2 mins rest between sets. Felt better as went on through the session, going very well by the end! Another good session.
Athletics circuits, first time I've done them for a very long time and reminded me I have no upper body strength whatsoever... Calves aching a bit after yesterday though. Good session, should do it more often!
