Orienteering 1:37:39 [4] 14.02 km (6:58 / km) +480m 5:57 / km

UK Cup at Hambleden. Long, hilly and knackering - straight up the hill from the start and unsurprisingly lost the main pack by control 3. Pretty clean run though, only a small miss on one of the butterfly controls and a dodgy route choice or two. Lesson from the weekend - need to do more hill training...

Orienteering 38:22 [4] 5.63 km (6:49 / km) +190m 5:50 / km

UK Cup Middle Distance race at Bloom Wood. was aiming for under 40 mins so got that one :) only one big(ish) mistake, at no. 3, but quite a few smaller ones, especially in the bingo-ish area in the NW corner of the map (always have difficulty up there...). Control flow wasn't great either until the last bit. Legs felt heavy from the start, seemed like I was plodding around in the middle. Tomorrow will be fun...

Running 45:00 [3]

OUOC club run, different route but quite boring for the main part along long straight roads. Calf muscles still quite stiff from yesterday.

Running race 27:52 [5] 6.3 km (4:25 / km)

Teddy Hall Relays, 2nd leg for the OUOC team. felt pretty good, but knackered at the end. whether we've retained our top sports club title remains to be seen...

Running 33:00 [2]

Very easy paced run round the Nature Reserve in Portmeadow to get the legs loosened up and working again after the weekend.
