Very messy first orienteering in a while. I was rushing the whole time and never seemed to have enough time to properly look at the map. Felt fit though. MPd today, which was a bit frustrating, but again came down to rushing the nav.

Felt much better today after some stretching and self massage over the last few days. I have felt a bit of tibial posterior pain and found a good stretch and massage for that. Definitely something that I've felt while orienteering in the past.

Started off with my friend who I'm helping to train for a mountain marathon, so the first 18 or so KMs were quite steady. Ramped it up after that.

Felt a little stiff and sore today and had a couple lower leg niggles, so I called this session a little bit shorter than planned. Probably another easy day tomorrow and then back to full volume.

Running to the gym. Feeling a bit stiff in the arch of my right foot after the a long run yesterday, but it felt OK after warming up.

The gym was completely packed, being the start of semester at Newcastle's cheapest gym, so I did some bulgarian split squats (3 sets of 8, on each side) and ran home. Next week I'll be getting there on Monday morning instead of the afternoon.

Slept in so I didn't get to run in my usual Sunday long run group. Felt OK during the run apart from a little niggle in the right calf after doing some eccentric calf raises yesterday.
