Running (Easy) 50:08 [3] 10.61 km (4:44 / km) +109m 4:30 / km

I'm really digging going out and actually doing my easy runs at an EASY pace. Meaning if I wanted to I could hold a conversation. I feel like this approach is good because it allows me to get the KMs in without as much strain on the tendons, as well as making it much more pleasant to get through those easy KMs!

Really got into a nice easy rhythm and just kept going at a nice pace. Didn't have to do my usual thing of taking breaks to keep the HR in easy zone, I just kept the pace down a little lower! Picked a route with lots of elevation in it. The knee was starting to hurt at the end, so I might have a few days of flat stuff to allow it to recover.

Did some calf raises at the gym yesterday and boy oh boy have I got some DOMS today.

I'm somewhat high on motivation at the moment as I'm really hitting my stride again after the flu, but I know I have to be sensible with returning to high milage. Might just aim for 100km this week and see how it all feels and play it by ear.

Squats, walking lunges, calf raises, some core work, hamstring curls and warmup and down on the erg.
