Spur Trail Race no. 4, Kleinmond
Started flat on a rocky trail, with also some boardwalks which I was overly careful on due to the rain, then a section on rocky trail next to the river. Then climbed up this awesome path from about 6-9km, started this section in 7th and finished it in 3rd overall, ran the whole way and it was so fun! :D Lost a place again on the contour path as it was gradual downhill/very rocky but tried as best I could! Fav race of the series, felt a bit like Scotland with the weather/mountains!!!
4th overall, 1st lady. For winning overall, I managed to get 900 rand RaidLight vouchers, 700 cash, 400 Spur vouchers, a cool beaded trophy, a t-shirt and some champagne. Also got interviewed by SuperSport!!!..

Some prehab stuff

Have gone on a whim and entered a gazillion races in September whilst I have some kind of form from nowhere and feeling a little stressed that my body won't hold up (knowing me). Fingers n toes and everything crossed!!!... (scottish trail championships, stirling 10k + mamores vertical km)
