WCOC middle across the road from yesterday.
Horrible and bushy and slow, with no contours, and controls on bushes in the middle of bushes so all compass work- which I didn't have. Therefore this was so difficult, and I didn't find them all (although was within 10m) :')
Feel better today :)

Western Cape Orienteering Championships, !Khwa Ttu
Open and fast area with boulders, was nice. Still not feeling fantastic, running felt very labored and it was hot, so a little plod round. Mistakes at 4 and 17 due to compass and 9 I got distracted by another control. Also saw a tortoise and some buck!
I love orienteering <3

Token warmup. Didn't warm down as I felt like I was going to faint (had that a lot yest too). Also helped collect controls (walked all)
