9Round 33:32 [4]
ahr:107 max:146 shoes: INOV-8 Alltrain 215

Another great outdoor workout. Cool, and very windy, but I still worked up a sweat. The best part was sparring with Shelby. I can tell that I haven't done enough Russian twists lately. We did lots of squats, jumping squats, etc. and ended up with laps around the parking area. So much fun, and I feel more energized that I have all week.

Dog Walking 22:17 [2] 1.63 km (13:43 / km) +6m 13:28 / km
ahr:111 max:135 shoes: INOV-8 TrailRoc 270

The usual at Mack Porter park with Elray, except that we went clockwise. I'll be glad to have my mornings clear again, so we can do our walks in the morning. Today I had an echocardiogram, which I think will turn out fine. And a follow up from my hospital stay. It was all back to normal.

Dog Walking 23:53 [2] 1.74 km (13:45 / km) +4m 13:35 / km
ahr:104 max:128 shoes: INOV-8 TrailRoc 270

Mack Porter park with Elray. A better pace than yesterday, and I got some upper body in by having to pull her along in places. This morning was blood tests and a B-12 shot. I'll be glad when I can get back into normal routine.

Dog Walking 19:04 [1] 1.17 km (16:14 / km) +5m 15:53 / km
ahr:102 max:111 shoes: INOV-8 TrailRoc 270

A short walk at a different time on a crazy day. All three of us went to Mack Porter, but did a cut across on the grass at the ballfields. Elray "walked the doggie" to get her tired out. Warm, but good to get out.

Dog Walking 31:42 [1] 1.85 km (17:08 / km) +2m 17:02 / km
ahr:99 max:123 shoes: INOV-8 TrailRoc 270

Mack Porter Park with Elray. She kept getting slower and slower the closer we came to the car. A bit chilly.
12 PM

Workout 58:50 [3]
ahr:91 max:116 shoes: INOV-8 Alltrain 215

Plus three minutes warmup on the air bike. I pushed the sled, and lifted heavier weights than usual. One new wrinkle was doing my agility drills with my feet, while passing a tennis ball around my body with my hands. Had to be thinking.

Dog Walking 23:58 [1] 1.58 km (15:12 / km) +6m 14:55 / km
ahr:103 max:117 shoes: INOV-8 TrailRoc 270

Elray and I went to Mack Porter Park. Today the gates were open and we did the usual shorter loop around the ball fields. Very breezy.

Sunday Oct 11 #

10 AM

Dog Walking 23:36 [1] 1.67 km (14:06 / km) +9m 13:44 / km
ahr:100 max:119 shoes: INOV-8 TrailRoc 270

Both gates to Mack Porter were closed, so we parked at the substation and went around the gate. We mostly did our usual walk, but clockwise and with a different start/finish. Elray does more sniffing with me than when Bob comes along.
1 PM

Slogging 1:06:02 [4] 6.0 km (11:00 / km) +53m 10:32 / km
ahr:128 max:152 shoes: INOV-8 TrailRoc 270

Watkins Mill clockwise. This was the good, the bad and the ugly. I did the first km at 9:20, but it was all downhill (speed, not terrain) from there. The 2nd and 3rd lap weren't too bad, but the 4th, lots of climb, and the 6th, getting dizzy, low blood sugar? were ugly. Apparently aerobic training was overreaching, and anaerobic was impacting, so that was good. Too hot, and I forgot to use my inhaler. But I did it more for attitude adjustment than training.
